Our Classic Toys and Traditional Games and
Active Role-Play have been made with two influences in mind; firstly, we
wanted to make toys inspired by real childhood favourites of the Medieval,
Tudor/Stuart, Georgian and Victorian historical ages; secondly, we
believed that to enable good imagination and safe role-play, modern day
children needed good, well-made and safe role-play props, ideally designed
with a classic timeless feel about them. Although these toys have such a
classic appeal, they are modern toys: designing and master making is
ongoing and as new designs come into production so our range gradually
