Strictly Dishonorable

1951

Starring
Ezio Pinza

The fan of an opera star ends-up at his apartment
and marriage seems the only honorable course of action!

Apart from Janet's performance,
my favourite of this movie is
Millard Mitchell's
character,
the cynical and street-wise
"Mr. Fix-it"
for Ezio Pinza`s character.

As in
"Bye Bye Birdie"
several years later,
Janet has to wear a black wig
for much of this movie and
like Elizabeth Taylor's blonde wig in
"Little Women"
it just doesn't look right.
