due to Hughes' procrastination in the cutting room,
by which time the aircraft technology displayed was out-of-date.
For the 1950`s the plot stretches credibility, when we are
expected to believe
that beautiful Janet is a highly proficient Soviet aviatrix,
who speaks with an American accent.

her co-star,
shared the same original surname as Janet,
he being Marion Morrison and she being Jeanette.
This was the movie where
the script required the non-smoking Janet
to smoke for the first time and where she picked up the habit.
